Build Your Own Homemade Energy Solutions

Electric bills and fuel bills keep rising, but the cost of wind turbine energy is zero, and the cost of installing and hooking up a turbine is steadily coming down as demand rises and more commercial success is realized by various companies producing the turbines and researching technologies for to make them ever more effective.

The trend toward homes that are powered by alternative energy sources, from wind turbines and solar collection cells to hydrogen fuel cells and biomass gases, is one that needs to continue into the 21st century and beyond. Anyone could become a renewable energy generator following these instructions Plus I like the simplicity of the guide.

Again is this motivation to get away from the traditional sources of energy the same thing that causes people to seek power of the wind for their energy, giving more business opportunities the contribution from wind turbine production and maintenance, which drives their costs down for consumers.

In nearly thirty states at the time of this writing, homeowners who remain on the net, but still choose to use wind energy (or other alternative forms) are eligible for rebates or tax breaks from the state governments that end up paying as much as 50% of their total “green” energy systems’ costs.

In addition there are 35 states at the time of this writing where these homeowners are allowed to sell their excess energy back to the power company in accordance with what is called “net metering laws”. The rates they are paid by the local power companies for this energy is standard retail rates, in other words, homeowners are actually profiting from their own energy production.

Find out how to slash your electricity bill by 80% or even eliminate it completely!

Biodiesel, Big The Bold The Beautiful

Biodiesel has existed for over a century. While the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900 Dr. Rudolf Diesel invented the diesel engine ran his first engines on a fuel derived from peanut oil – the original biodiesel. Before his death in 1913 he stated that: “The diesel engine can be fed with vegetable oils
and would significantly help in the development of agriculture in the countries that use it.”

Before WW2 bio diesel was in use in South Africa to power larger equipment, and Europe has been very instrumental in the development of technology to promote the use of bio diesel. In Europe there are
more available than diesel in America, and one must wonder what is delaying the use of more and
more diesels in the U.S.?

The industry can turn their destinies by developing diesel engines and actually took three Mercedes C-class diesel engines and ran them over 30,000 miles using biodiesel from Jatropha oil without modification of engines and with no negative impact during this period.

All major car manufacturers from cars to large trucks have ongoing studies with alternative fuels,
but for some unknown reason to keep them locked up in secret. In August 2007 showed Mack’s parent
company, Volvo Group seven demonstration trucks that emit no carbon dioxide. Each of the cars was
driven by another renewable fuel type – that illustrate the breadth of its research alternative fuels.

Home Biodiesel Production Part 2

Now that we filter the oil, we should make a batch of biodiesel. And we want to show you what you do. We have now filtered oil. I have oil in a 55 gallons drum, and I’m going to put the oil in this machine. Inside this machine has the
brands that tell me different sizes, and so I will transport the oil in to use this huge behemoth. Click it, and then we can start the flow by turning the power on. I have already pre-installed this machine full of oil, but basically this suction pump would suck the oil out and put it into this machine. When the oil is in here so we are ready to get started with
batch. Remember that it takes methanol and lye, and we use a secret ingredient, we use sulfuric acid and I’ll tell you
what is in a minute.

After we have loaded our oil in this machine, it is now time to load the chemicals and everything else needed to get started. Our next is to put methanol in these quarts up here. So I’m going to climb up here, and what we are: one liter
of methanol spring, one liter of our methoxide, which is going to be our combination of sodium or potassium hydroxide, we will use potassium hydroxide in this case, and some methanol. I have some handy gauges on this site that lets me know when I get a lot of methanol I need, into the machine so I’m just going to go down here for a moment, put my methanol in the barrel, and I’m going to chug away, with a pump, so I get methanol in our machine here.

Is Making Homemade Biofuel Easy?

Making homemade biofuels are not as easy as some of the videos would have you believe. There are many factors in the process of making homemade biofuels that will determine how well it goes in your engine. It also depends on what kind of diesel you own whether the fuel will run smoothly in the car. A rule of thumb is the older the better for diesel engines. The old Mercedes, VW and Volvo does best, and since they are old you do not really care about after many years of use the homemade biofuels have any effect. I read that a diesel older than 2003 will run the fuel, but I would double check the make and model with more research to know sure.

The filtering waste oil is the key to home-made biofuels and whether it’s running in your engine. Weather conditions in your area also have a huge impact on how you work with home-made biofuel, you may need to mix it with regular diesel or other mixers to make sure it goes in adverse weather conditions. Because there are so many factors to consider when making home-made biofuel a guide was developed to walk you through the process and help you to achieve oil independence. Plus if you decide you no longer want to try home-made biofuel or shape it is not for you, the guide is fully refundable. Is it easy to make homemade biofuels, yes! Just read through the guide and see for yourself how easy you can do it with a little help from the masters. There is a great BBC video that shows how biodiesel works in an old volvo.

Making Biodiesel at home Your – Made Easy

What is Biodiesel? The term biodiesel refers to a fuel type derived from natural resources, such as straight vegetable oil – which if often called SVO -, waste vegetable oil (WVO for short) and animal fat (tallow). It can be used in regular diesel type vehicles without modification. It is a common misconception that you need to buy expensive conversion kits to use this new technology. The process that turns vegetable oil into fuel is called transesterification and is so easy that you can do it yourself. More about later.

that

Pros and disadvantages of using Biodiesel is not only good for your wallet (it is often 10-20% cheaper at gas stations already!), But you can help save the Earth, also by not using fossil fuels. The environmental benefits include reduction of the rate of biodegradation, greenhouse gas emissions, pollution and deforestation. There is clearly a win-win case, the only problem is that most of the time you can not find a Biodiesel tank station nearby you, although the number of these increasing day day.

Making Biodiesel The best part is that you are able to produce biodiesel in your own backyard using free waste oil from restaurants for example. The ingredients are simple: vegetable oil, alcohol and lye. The ratio is 75%, 22% and 3% respectively. Mix these and then let it sit for an hour. The mixture will separate into two parts: the glycerin will remain at the bottom and biodiesel on top. It is recommended to clean the BD through a water wash. Then it is ready to use!
